Stargate expands iTunes, Amazon presence

There’s more Stargate now available for download on the iTunes and Amazon Unbox video download services, including all ten seasons of Stargate SG-1 and all four seasons of Stargate Atlantis!

Yep … that means every broadcast episode of both shows — some 285 episodes and counting — is now available legally for your digital collection.

Seasons Three, Four, Five, and Six were added to Apple’s popular download service last month, followed this week by Seasons Seven, Eight, and Nine. Amazon has also recently added all past seasons of the hit series, which ran for five years on Showtime and five years on SCI FI Channel in the U.S.

Both services have only the 44-minute version of Season Eight’s “Threads,” not the extended edition that originally aired on SCI FI.

All four seasons of Stargate Atlantis are also available, as well as the original 1994 film and its soundtrack ($9.99 each on iTunes — the movie is $6.99 on Amazon), and music soundtracks for SG-1 and Atlantis.
