The first in the series will be a novelization of the series premiere, “Air” (premiering October 2 in the U.S.). Written by Stargate veteran James Swallow (“Halcyon,” “Relativity”) based on the script from SGU creators Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, the book is planned for a November release.
Swallow was recently honored with a Scribe Award in the Best Speculative Fiction (original) category, for his novel Star Trek Terok Nor: Day of the Vipers.
Stargate Universe is the third officially licensed series for the U.K.-based company, which has been publishing Stargate SG-1 novels since 2004 and Atlantis novels since 2005.

Wait a sec - does it mean they're gonna publish a book that's based on certain eps... or continuation of them... ??
Interesting to see how they structure this considering that Universe will be more of a serial-style show.
Maybe in the books someone will finally use the WATER that surrounded Atlantis. How this was never used, but once as I remember, is crazy. How can you be floating on water and never use it? Oh well, Maybe the Movie. What Movie?
