Propworx Stargate Auctions: Week 22

Propworx is continuing to punch out more and more Stargate goodies! The online auction is now more than five months old. GateWorld has been following the progress of the auctions, posting our favorite items and relaying them to you.

Week 22 is no different, so let’s get on with it!

Weir Irresistible Uniform
Uniform worn by actress Torri Higginson as Dr. Elizabeth Weir in the Stargate Atlantis Season Three episode, “Irresistible”. An expert on international politics, Dr. Weir was President Hayes’s choice to lead the Atlantis expedition in the Pegasus Galaxy. She served this role with distinction for three years before she was captured and killed by the Pegasus Replicators.

Knight Sword
Metal sword with black handle used in the production of Stargate SG-1. This sword is the type used by the knights in shining armor as seen in the Season Nine episodes “Avalon, Part 2” and “Camelot”. Cameron Mitchell defended himself against this weapon with the “Excalibur” sword in “Avalon, Part 2,” revealing that he had taken fencing classes in college.

One Foot Working Wall Light

Working one-foot variant of the block-design Ancient wall decoration, used during the production of Stargate Atlantis. Nicknamed “chicklet” by the Stargate production team, this wall decoration helped to bring the corridors of the lost city of the Ancients to life.

Space Gate Art
Concept art depicting the Space Stargate introduced in the Stargate Atlantis pilot, “Rising”. This concept art was the inspiration for the design of the CG gate.

Tok’ra Costume
Brown jacket, shirt and trousers, used in the production of Stargate SG-1 from Season Six to “Stargate: Continuum”. The Tok’ra costumes were redesigned midway through Season Six, replacing the tan “desert” gear that they had worn since Season Two’s “The Tok’ra, Part 1”.

Ancient Control Panel
Control panel from the Ancient era featuring manual switches, used as the control panel for the mental acceleration device from the Stargate Atlantis Season Three episode “Tao of Rodney”. The panel features Ancient writing, and is backlit by a blue gel.

Elizabeth Weir Necklace
Necklace worn by actress Torri Higginson as “Elizabeth Weir” on Stargate Atlantis. A civilian leader, Weir was allowed to wear jewelry and less militaristic clothing.

Teyla Doppelganger Costume
Costume worn by actress Rachel Luttrell as “Teyla Emmagan” in the Stargate Atlantis Season Four episode, “Doppelganger”. The leader of the Athosian tribe, Teyla gave up a life among her people to defend them from the Wraith by joining the Atlantis expedition. Her knowledge of cultures, her martial arts skills and her Wraith DNA were key in helping Sheppard’s team navigate the treacherous Pegasus Galaxy.

Daniel Artifact – Cat Statue
Egyptian cat statue from Daniel Jackson’s office, seen in numerous episodes of Stargate SG-1. Daniel collected many artifacts from Earth as well as other worlds during his travels. This item may represent an artifact from a lost civilization.

Jack O’Neill Air Force Ribbon Bars

Ribbon bars created for use on Jack O’Neill’s dress blues, but unused. O’Neill served as the team leader of the first mission to Abydos, then later became commander of Sierra Golf One for eight years. He was then promoted to leader of Stargate Command, a position he filled for a year before transferring to Homeworld Security at the Pentagon.

Let’s take a look at the highs and lows from last week’s auction. On the high end, Dr. Peel’s uniform from Stargate Atlantis sold for $743.00, a short turquoise wall light sold for $697.00, and a Travelers blaster (the same type as Ronon’s) sold for $630.00.

On the low end, artwork for a Wraith mask sold for $11.61, a medical technician badge from “Bad Guys” sold for $12.50 and Rodney McKay’s toiletry bag sold for $14.39.
