A variant of the element naquadah, the mineral of which the Stargate and much Goa'uld technology is made. Liquid naquadah is used in very small quantities to power Jaffa staff weapons, and presumably other forms of Goa'uld weaponry.
KEY EPISODES
The Fifth Race - Under the influence of the Ancients' library downloaded into his brain, Jack uses the liquid naquadah cell from Teal'c's staff weapon in his construction of a power device, allowing the Stargate to send him to another galaxy.
Absolute Power - In a terrifying dream sequence, Daniel sees liquid naquadah as a key component in an orbital defense platform using Goa'uld technology.
