Associate of Dr. Catherine Langford and consultant on the Stargate and its coverstone. He was a part of the research project attempting to open the Stargate inside a military installation at Creek Mountain.
Meyers had used inaccurate texts to translate the hieroglyphs on the coverstone. With the arrival of Dr. Daniel Jackson, much of Meyers's translation was corrected or rewritten. What he and his staff had long-translated as "Door to Heaven" was, in fact, "Stargate."
