The Ancient Orlin, last seen in Season Five’s “Ascension,” will return in “The Fourth Horseman” Parts 1 and 2, suffering a dibilitating illness to his mind. The role was originally played by Sean Patrick Flanery. Due to the actor’s unavailability for the episodes, Orlin’s shoes will be filled by a young actor who has recently been making a name for himself on the silver screen.
“The part will be played by the terrific Cameron Bright,” Mallozzi said. “How is this possible, you’re no doubt asking. Well, there’s a very good reason Orlin’s appearance has changed …”
Bright, 12, has appeared in the recent cult hit “The Butterfly Effect,” as well as key roles in “Godsend” with Robert De Niro and “Birth” with Nicole Kidman.
“The Fourth Horseman” is set to go before cameras soon, and Part 1 will air in September on The SCI FI Channel in the U.S. Part 2 will likely kick off Season Nine’s second half in January. Stick with GateWorld for the latest!
