Anderson is himself on The Simpsons

The first details on actor Richard Dean Anderson’s upcoming The Simpsons appearance have been revealed! Anderson will play himself in an episode titled “Kiss Kiss, Bang Bangalore,” which is expected to air on or around March 26, 2006, according to The Simpsons Folder (via the Richard Dean Anderson Web Site).

Anderson is kidnapped by Simpson in-laws Patty and Selma — notoriously fanatical fans of Anderson’s MacGyver — when he visits Springfield.
