Its kinda sad that Mr. Davis' final film appearance is another sketchy SciFi pictures flick. They do good miniseries, but their movies are pretty abysmal. Its a shame. I always liked Don. Its a shame he seemed to be type-cast as some military veteran.
What a shame Don's last film will be something I will likely never see. And I'd lay odds that he dies in the film as well. It's also a shame that he most likely will be remembered for his on-screen persona, yet when one read's through all the tributes and his past history, that was only a small portion of what made him a great human being.
I think he was type-cast because he had such a strong and authorative presence. He didn't have to act it, he just 'was'.
Hopefully they include a tribute to him in either the SGA extras (I know there is something in EATG, but that is to General Hammond) or the next SG1 movie. I recall AT talked about how much she missed Don in s10 The Road Not Taken, and how it made her sad just to hear his voice (he wasn't dead when that was recorded).
