Can’t wait. Looking forward to the extended version of “Enemy at the Gate” especially.
just a heads up for anyone who wants it cheep walmart has it for $32.36 .
I very much am looking forward to the extended versions. I wish they could do more of them. I’ve often thought that one way they could get me to buy more dvds is to re-release all the episodes in their extended, “director’s cut” versions. That would be very tempting…
Ack! No commentary for The Shrine!
But I’m still can’t wait to get my hands on it, lots of xtras!
Where’s the bluray? :(
Maybe Enemy at the Gate won’t feel so damned rushed now.
Shame about the lack of commentary on Shrine.
The extras don’t seem any more special than usual I am super syked for the extended episode, though I don’t know if I will notice as they will be my first viewing. I was upset when I heard the ending was only a one parter, how much long is it? Does anyone know I doubt it will be any more than 5 minutes but I hope it’s a good 15 minutes longer.
It sucks that there’s no commentary on Shrine – it’s like last year with Midway. On the other hand, at least we get a commentary on Prodigal – it’s one of my favorite episodes of the whole series and Andy Mikita always dishes the funniest stuff :)
Going to holdout for bluray. It’s the wave of the future!
I’m looking forward to the extended versions of the episodes and the deleted scenes. What about bloopers?
Can’t wait!! Bummer about the Shrine. I hope there’s bloopers!
Re Bloopers, I think it was Brad Wright (or R Cooper?) who said at the Vancouver con that he didn’t like bloopers, for one, cause they give the actors reasons to goof off and mess up shots…
This sounds great!! Im already excited!!
BUT I STILL MISS ATLANTIS!! I MISS WATCHING IT!! OTHER THAN THAT I DON’T WATCH TV!! BRING BACK ATLANTIS!! BRING BACK ATLANTIS!!
I’m glad we’re finally getting a interview with Joe Flanigan: It’s about time.
A pity about the Mission Directives though; I really hated both “Tracker” and “Brainstorm” – they have to be two of the worst episodes – I was hoping for some really good episodes like “The Prodigal”, “The Shrine” or “Vegas” although I notice we are at least getting something on Vegas.
I’m disappointed that there won’t be a commentary on The Shrine. Talking of commentaries, are there any actor ones this time – I hope so!
[…] deleted scenes! You can see the full list of DVD features and MGM’s official press release at GateWorld.net! Honestly, it looks like the only thing missing that fans could want are the booper reels we all […]
Just to point that the information about the DVD is inaccurate, there is only English audio and the subtitles are English, French and Spanish, there is no Portuguese.
[…] Atlantis Season 5 is out June 30th with tons of […]
I agree with Sylvia
Bring back atlantis!!
can’t wait for s5 on dvd
and the movie also
series ended way too soon
I actually heard they cancelled Atlantis because the Canadian dollar was too high at the time. But it didn’t stay high for long. How short sighted.
if you can’t bring back the series at least keep it up with the movies.
btw I love Joe F.
