Whether you’re looking for a particular image of an actor from an interview, or an elusive backstage crew member, GateWorld’s plan is to offer it to you. We’re taking our time over the next few months to get all available footage from the DVD special features pumped into our gallery.
The first additions to this new gallery are the three SCI FI Channel Lowdowns featured on the SG-1 Complete Series DVD set in North America. Originally broadcast on SCI FI from 2003 to 2005, they contain behind-the-scenes footage of the Stargate sets and interviews with cast and crew members.
Below is a breakdown of the galleries.
Lowdown: Stargate SG-1 (723 images) – This documentary explores the development of SG-1‘s early Season Seven episodes. Includes numerous cast and crew interviews and behind-the-scenes set footage of episodes like “Enemy Mine.”
Lowdown: From Stargate to Atlantis (631 images) – This documentary introduces the cast of Stargate Atlantis through interviews and exclusive footage from the pilot, “Rising,” as well as the first few episodes of Season Eight of SG-1. Hosted by Amanda Tapping.
Lowdown: Behind the Stargate: Secrets Revealed (839 images) – This documentary aired on SCI FI Channel just before the return of SG-1 and Atlantis from their Season Eight and One mid-season breaks, respectively. Hosted by David Hewlett.
