Veteran television director Felix Alcala is directing a key episode of Stargate Universe‘s first season. SGU producer Joseph Mallozzi told fans the news on his blog.
Alcala directs “Divided,” the twelfth episode of Season One and the second half of the mid-season two-parter.
His previous directing credits include sci-fi genre shows like Battlestar Galactica (“Exodus” and the movie “Razor”), Dollhouse and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He has also helmed episodes of Criminal Minds, ER, House, Burn Notice and many more.
The producers are branching out with several directors who are new to Stargate, as well as keeping the franchise’s mainstay directors like Andy Mikita, Will Waring and Peter DeLuise. Other directors announced to date include Ernest Dickerson (“Earth”) and Alex Chapple (“Life”).

Definitely excited about this guy. Battlestar Galactica's "Exodus" was one of my personal favorites and certainly one of the best of that series.
BSG Exodus was one of the few episodes I enjoyed. So I am sure he will do a good job
He is really good, dude.
