The ship’s water supply dwindles, prompting Colonel Young and Lt. Scott to visit a frozen planet in search of drinkable samples. Meanwhile, the crew attempts to snare an intruder.

Despite severe rationing and around the clock security, the water reserves on board the Destiny continue to drop. Dr. Nicholas Rush has no explanation for this latest setback but, if they are to survive, they must find a new water source soon. The only planet within range is a frozen wasteland surrounded by a thin and poisonous atmosphere.
Donning two of the ship’s deteriorated spacesuits, Colonel Young and Lt. Scott head to the planet’s surface, hoping to retrieve enough ice to replenish their water supply. But once there, tests reveal that the ice near the Stargate contains traces of highly toxic chemicals. Young and Scott take off in search of drinkable samples knowing they don’t have long before their air will run out and Destiny jumps back to F.T.L.
Back on board the ship, Lt. Tamara Johansen works with the crew to catch an intruder they believe is responsible for the lost rations.

I dunno what people are really complaining about I just really wanna see this episode... it's the same with all of em, the actors are good the characters are interesting and it's just gonna be really interesting to see where it all ends up in the end... be it with disaster or cake for all.
Just saw WATER and I thought it was the best yet. An absolutely excellent episode - in my opinion at least.
Was so predictecal that some would fall in a Hole on that Planet. Rest of Story was ok
Great episode. For a second there I thought it’s going to be Scott “saving the day” AGAIN. Was pleasantly surprised that his ass got humbled a bit. As for Eli… I don’t think that running all sad and whiny constitutes mature. Sure he’s glad to be there – that much is obvious, but he also has principles, meaning, he’d rather say the truth and deal with the consequences. Rush just jumps right into “command” and thinks that when he’s in charge he automatically has to make dramatic decisions, without any middle ground or trust. Greer’s back to his sadistic unpredictable self. Still dislike Scott (for the girl deal) – personal thing :p.
The only interesting in this show is how the ratings are and if im right again that this episode will have agan less viewers.
The only thing way this show is not yet on the canceling table is becasue it has the name stargate in it.
