Stargate Universe returns to TVs in North America in just two weeks — Friday, April 2. But in the United Kingdom, fans will have to keep waiting.
Sky1 will premiere “Space,” the first episode of the back half of Season One, on Tuesday, April 13 at 8 p.m.
During the first half of the season new episodes followed in the U.K. just four days later. For reasons unknown, Sky has inserted an extra week.
Instead, on April 6 the satellite network will kick off a new season of the reality series U.K. Border Force with a 2-hour premiere covering SGU‘s time slot. That show will air at 9 p.m. from the following week, after Stargate.
Syfy Channel in the U.S. and SPACE in Canada will both air new episodes starting April 2. Australia will continue to stay one week behind, with “Space” premiering on SCI FI Channel there April 9 at 8:30 p.m.

According to Sky1 Twitter account, the extra week now is to avoid a week break the show will take in the US later in the year
SGU gets great ratings on sky.
