Propworx Stargate Auctions: Week 14

GateWorld takes a look at some of the items available this week through the Propworx Stargate auctions!

propworx_jaffastaffThe fourteenth week of the Propworx Stargate auctions has begun! This week features only 50 items compared to the usual 110, so instead of of the normal ten items we highlight, we have selected only six.

Let’s have a look at ’em!

Jaffa Staff Weapon
Prop staff weapon used in the production of Stargate SG-1. Teal’c carried a staff of this type as his weapon of choice for all ten seasons of the series. This staff is in excellent condition.

McKay No Mans Land Uniform
Uniform worn by actor David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” after he is removed from a Wraith cocoon in the Stargate Atlantis Season Three episode “No Man’s Land”. This costume is heavily distressed in Wraith slime from the cocoon.

propworx_danieltranslationDaniel Translation from New Order
Dr. Daniel Jackson’s translation of a message sent by the Goa’uld Camulus in the Stargate SG-1 Season Eight episode “New Order, Part 1”. This prop was used in a scene between Jackson and Dr. Elizabeth Weir while they decided whether or not to allow the System Lords to Earth for a potential alliance.

Midway Station Patch
A production made Midway Station patch. While Midway was in operation several officers served at this station, including Samantha Carter and Bill Lee. Midway was destroyed following a Wraith incursion, severing the convenience of getting two and from Atlantis in a day.

propworx_eurondanpistolThe Other Side Eurondan Pistol
Pistol wielded by a Eurondan soldier in the Stargate SG-1 Season Four episode, “The Other Side”. The Eurondans were a Machiavellian race that were intent on exterminating the neighboring civilization on their planet. This is an especially rare item from the earlier seasons of Stargate SG-1.

Underwater Lantea Concept Art
Concept art depicting the underwater view from the city windows while Atlantis is submerged in the pilot episode. This concept art was the inspiration for the design of the underwater landscape.

Out of last week’s auctions, what sold well and what didn’t? On the high end, the light-up Anti-Replicator gun sold for $1,531, the Wraith Stunner rifle sold for $1,025, and the Daniel’s Cat Statue artifact sold for $531.76. On the low end, the Charlie O’Neill school photo sold for $6.06, Sergeant Siler’s clip-on sunglasses sold for $10.50,  and the Peter Woeste chair back also sold for $10.50.

I wonder why there are so few this week. When are the eBay auctions set to stop happening altogether?
