no matter anyone say i love stargate. my favourite in all of these is stargate SG! i watch it like infinite times and still watching it everytime from last 1 year. one thing i dont like is there should be human aliens than stupid masks, asgard are good it fit the story because they were like humans uns is also ok because they show it in the orignal movie. we are mare mortals , we can not begin to question those with the knowledge and understanding of the infinite universe . if a few jaffa must give therelife so that… Read more »
It looks from the trailer that Telford will be able to gate to Destiny but die soon after, though not before warning Young about the coming members of the Lucien Alliance.
Love the trailer and i cant wait for tonight.
Rush will be back with them in no time haha!!!
Can’t wait, the second half looks really good and im looking forward to this second half more then any other stargate season and thats b/c its totally different. For the first time you really dont know whos going to live or die and if they’re gonna save the day and that to me is why i love SGU so much
Have to say looks interesting, if this keeps up might be worth investing.
It definitely does show promise. Here’s to hoping for the delivery.
Although the clip was horrible, it does show signs of being the best episode to date. I question how Rush will return to Destiny, so hopefully that’s also a huge part of the episode. Hopefully Telford get’s what’s coming to him, too. (I hate that guy.)
There’s no pleasing some people. I, for one, am looking forward to the next episode tonight and am hoping for the best.
Its about time!
Looking forward to it and heard nothing but good things from those who have had the privilege to see it early.
Gee thanks for putting that little spoiler in the article about young and the stones. This doesn’t give away a big surprise at all.
Well there was a Moderate Spoiler Alert warning at the beginning of the article.
Watching the minutes pass till the new SGU airs. Can’t wait. This trailer has got me syked!
That’s right, I noticed it just now. Too bad I didn’t see it sooner. Sorry about that comment.
I do wish there wouldn’t be any spoilers on ‘major’ plotpoints before an episode has actually aired though. Especially if I’ve just had to wait 4 months for it.
FTR I love SGU.
Love Universe, so excited that it’s back!
In my opinion using the first 10 episodes to extreemly build up characters is a way to kick out a lot of old stargate audience. And lot of them could be away forever. Character building should come natural within several season’s. But also with every building there comes a point wenn building is finished. I hope they done building and hearing there comment they obviously are for a large part. That a good thing. So instead a soap in space. It becomes a real scifi show with some accentuation on drama. Better balance. Well we know for sure wenn we’ll… Read more »
Awesome Episode. I have enjoyed it
@ I Revanchrist I:
I hope you’re as big a fan of irony as I am.
4 months was a long long time.I love SGU. I loved SG1 and hope they make those planned films; esp as they’d most likely do very very well.
Tonight’s episode was great. No spoilers in case you haven’t seen it.
And agreed with above comment – irony is always interesting when events unfold in certain ways and when it seems multi-edged.
It was a good episode and a fab start for season 1.5 but in my opinion the story should have been used for 2 episodes, it felt like they crammed a little much into a single episode.
It was normal… I wouldn’t call it good, but normal… Need more episodes like this and better, more action and less drama…
Compared with Other Scifi Shows from the Past like B5, Star Trek and all the other I give it it 4 out of 10 i did must think of Jon Carpenters Dark Star when Young fix his Sox´s
Other than the ~2 minute emo-wrapup at the end, this episode was at least a step in the right direction. And was I the only one who thought about ‘Mars Attacks’ during certain scenes?
Probably you where. Really loved the episode, but hated the ending conversation between Rush and Wray(or whatever her name is). I really do hope that this tension on the line of “military vs civilian” will go away at some point, or at least will get resolved in the next episode by way of some sort of “cosmic closure”.
