Ben Browder — Stargate SG-1‘s Cameron Mitchell — has joined artist Martin Firrell’s public art project about the importance and wider significance of science fiction television.
The artist’s Web site, MartinFirrell.com, includes work-in-progress videos of Browder speaking about Mitchell’s relationship with authority.
Atlantis actors Joe Flanigan (John Sheppard) and David Nykl (Radek Zelenka) have also contributed to the project. Flanigan talks about creating the role of John Sheppard and the value of being an action hero in the modern world. Nykl discusses science and the significance of Zelenka’s Czech origins.

All the Sci Fi Series videos were really cool. Well worth a look. Thanks for posting this information.
Tres cool! (Pardon my "French". :-)
As an aside, it was strange to hear David Nykl speak without his Czech accent. His natural voice actually sounds deeper. The fact that I was surprised by his "real" voice is, I think, a testament to his acting prowess.
I love this! We are getting some insight from these actors on how they have felt about their work but in an artistic medium in itself, with the visuals. I look forward to seeing Mr Firrnell's finished work!
