The choices for individual moments are tough here, since the team all had great moments in the first season. Well, everyone in the team except for Ford. It’s a shame they didn’t do more to develop Ford and then wrote him off, but at least his departure paved the way for Ronon. the first season of atlantis is some of the best sci fi ive ever seen and it is what originally got me hooked on stargate. we are lucky to have a show that lasted 17 seasons and a few movies to always go back and rewatch. ive seen countless hours of stargate and it never gets old

I think its a shame Beckett was not listed in the main group, since Vala was for season nine of SG1 before she became main cast. Mind you I was part of the Save CB campaign, so I’m biased!

Atlantis’s first Season has some of the best character work Stargate did in twelve seasons of television. – Good supporting characters like Zelenka, Grodin and Heightmeyer and the annoying Bates and Kavanaugh. Solid writing for the leads, except Ford. An exciting new concept, with lots of opportunities.- Pity it went down the pan later on!

Brilliant excuse to re-watch on my shiny new blu rays (well not so new – i got them for xmas) and will be a more active participator in this than the SG1 rewatch. Votes submitted, can’t wait for the outcome. Also went for Robert Patrick as best guest star, that was a major coup!
