A brand new team, a brand new enemy bent on dominating the brand new galaxy, and a brand new Stargate show! This month we’re revisiting Stargate Atlantis Season One as part of the Stargate Rewatch project. Now it’s time to vote on your favorite episodes, character moments, villains, and more!
We took nominations earlier this month, and have put the most-nominated on the official ballot below. This includes Best Moment characters for everyone who was a main cast member in Season One. (Look for the “Best Beckett Moment” to debut next month.)
You don’t have to be a Rewatch participant to vote, but please vote only once! Voting will close on June 30, and we’ll announce the winners for the month before we head on into Atlantis Season Two in July. Be sure to come back then to nominate your favorites from Season Two.
The polls are now closed. Thanks for your votes!
The choices for individual moments are tough here, since the team all had great moments in the first season. Well, everyone in the team except for Ford. Atlantis’s first Season has some of the best character work Stargate did in twelve seasons of television. – Good supporting characters like Zelenka, Grodin and Heightmeyer and the annoying Bates and Kavanaugh. Solid writing for the leads, except Ford. An exciting new concept, with lots of opportunities.- Pity it went down the pan later on!
Brilliant excuse to re-watch on my shiny new blu rays (well not so new – i got them for xmas) and will be a more active participator in this than the SG1 rewatch. Votes submitted, can’t wait for the outcome. Also went for Robert Patrick as best guest star, that was a major coup!
Makin’ me pick between 38 Minutes, The Eye and Siege II. That’s hard…
