Richard Dean Anderson to appear on Apartment 23

Stargate‘s Jack O’Neill is headed to ABC’s Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.

Actor Richard Dean Anderson will make a cameo appearance on the sophomore comedy series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He’ll play (probably an exaggerated version of) himself, following the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Saved By the Bell), Frankie Munitz (Malcolm in the Middle), and series star James “Dawson’s Creek” Van Der Beek.

Anderson has most recently appeared as his class TV character MacGyver in a series of Mercedes-Benz ads (story) — which you can now watch here.

Apartment 23 airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC. An air date for Anderson’s episode has not yet been announced.
