Teryl Rothery to Guest on Arrow

Former Stargate SG-1 actress Teryl Rothery just might be the hardest working woman in Vancouver.

Having just wrapped shooting on the first season of Cedar Cove (Saturdays at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel), Rothery has just started filming a multi-episode guest arc on Arrow.  The comic book show was a breakout hit for The CW last year, and is currently prepping its second season.

Rothery played Dr. Janet Fraiser for seven years on Stargate SG-1.

The actress told fans on Twitter that she has booked a three- to four-episode arc on the show, playing a character who is very different from her Cedar Cove character, Grace.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who returns home from five years on an island to take on a vigilante personae to right the wrongs of his family.  (Among the show’s crew is former Stargate stuntman and fight coordinator James “BamBam” Bamford.)

Season Two of Arrow starts Wednesday, October 9 on The CW! For more on the show check out the series guide over at our sister site, SciFi Stream.
