Brand new Stargate collectibles are headed our way from Monogram International, in the form of two members of SG-1 — now in adorable backpack clip form.
These are 3D-sculpted foam figures in the cartoon-ified likeness of characters from Stargate SG-1, Robocop, and other genre favorites. The forthcoming “MGM Sci-Fi Stories” collection includes a total of 11 characters or movie posters, two of which hail from Stargate: Teal’c, and Dr. Daniel Jackson.
Figures stand around 2 inches tall and are recommended for ages 4 and up.
The new set is due out in January 2024, according to the listing at Entertainment Earth. But The Pop Insider reports that the MGM Sci-Fi clips are coming in November, so they could start showing up at your local retailer any day now.
Figures are sold at retail in blind bags, putting your odds around 1-in-5 that you’ll pull a Stargate character. Individual bags typically sell for around $7.99 each.
The full MGM Sci-Fi collection includes nine regular figurines plus two rare chase variants:
- Teal’c
Dr. Jackson
Robocop
Robocop ED-209
Robocop Poster
Species
The Zantis (The Outer Limits)
The Outer Limits Poster
War Games Poster
Robocop (Battle Damaged) (Chase)
Gwylim Griffiths (The Outer Limits) (Chase)
(Figures come with a bag clip attached to the top of their heads, which are not pictured in the box art.)
For MGM this follows the Rocky collection last summer and the “MGM Midnight Movies” horror collection this fall, featuring characters like Teen Wolf, Wednesday Adams, Carrie, Ash from Army of Darkness, and more.

We’re still on the lookout for online retailers selling individual blind bags from the new MGM Sci-Fi collection. But for now fans can pick up a random pack of 6 or a full display case of 24 at Entertainment Earth. (Remember that, because the blind bags are randomized, there’s no guarantee that even a full case will net you a Teal’c or a Daniel Jackson.)

I don’t buy “blind” boxes.😥
A few days ago both were available via ebay, they sold out pretty quickly. Decided to wait until they pop up im Europe, as shipping from US costs twice the items themselves.
