Master Replicas is officially a part of the Stargate licensing family. The U.K.-based company announced today that it has signed a new license with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer to produce Stargate ship models, as well as other brand new items.
Master Replicas says that it will release die-cast vehicles as well as prop replicas and figures. Its license covers the entire range of the Stargate film and television franchise: the feature film, SG-1, Atlantis, Universe, the SG-1 movies, and even the 2018 Web series Stargate Origins. So our hopes for a model Destiny, a Puddle Jumper, and maybe even a prop zat’ni’katel just received a major boost!
New items will begin to show up at select retailers and online at MasterReplicas.com in the spring of 2024. The company says that it will release a curated selection of items available over time (following the release patterns that collectors are accustomed to). “This will allow fans to add to the continuance of their collections with selected resellers who will be making stock available on a limited basis online,” the company said.
Master Replicas has been selling Stargate and other ship models from Eaglemoss’s “Hero Collector” line since that original license holder went bankrupt last year. Fans have been waiting for news that Master Replicas might pick up the rights to continue the line of licensed models, which former “Hero Collector” director Ben Robinson hinted to GateWorld last spring.
Master Replicas also announced new licensing deals for The Expanse and Dune.
Eaglemoss released three Stargate ships to market before going under — the Daedalus, Goa’uld mothership, and Death Glider — though up to seven others were in various stages of planning and production. After acquiring the company’s remaining stock Master Replicas found that the fourth ship in the line, the F-302, had already been mass produced. Some 1,500 units were sold online last month.
We also believe that Master Replicas has acquired the molds for ships previously produced by Eaglemoss, and might be able to resume manufacturing on those older items. (The Stargate ships have sold well, and the Daedalus in particular has become quite expensive on the secondary market.) This has not been confirmed yet, however.
Master Replicas has also been selling remainder stock from the Star Trek line of ships, as well as models from The Expanse, Battlestar Galactica, Alien, The Orville, and other properties.
Meanwhile, the company continues to sell off Eaglemoss’s stock in weekly drops on its Web site. Company reps have intimated on social media that some quantity of Stargate’s Prometheus model might exist, though they are unable to confirm it just yet. We’re watching to see if this model shows up in the fall.

Please add a Mark 2 N’aquada generator to the list, and make it be an actual portable lithium charger and I will throw you my money.
Great idea. I just imagined such items which could look cool as decorations on an office or on display if they could find the high definition concept arts. I guess it would be influenced by the popularity/price/quality ratio. – naquadah generator – naquadah generator with Tollan cover – mask of Ra (from the movie and the main title) – head part of the different Jaffa guards – Wraith stun weapons Some objects could be great for cosplayers. Those ones need to be larger to the human scale which would increase the price. – zat – tak – Goa’uld ribbon device… Read more »
