Leader of the tribe of Bola Kai, primitive warriors who are much feared throughout the Pegasus Galaxy. Omal is a seasoned warrior, and commands respect among his tribe.
When leading his warriors to the planet New Athos Omal found the village empty – victims of a culling by the Wraith. But they soon found Teyla Emmagan and Dr. Jennifer Keller in the surrounding forests, and captured them. Omal was resentful of the accusation, passed on by a duplicitous spy, that the Bola Kai had become Wraith worshipers.
