Female Jaffa warrior under the banner of the Hak'tyl resistance. Emta was saved from certain death in the Ceremony of Fire by her Hak'tyl sisters, and stands opposed to the rule of the Goa'uld Mot.
Emta was one of four Hak'tyl volunteers to travel to Stargate Command and participate in trials for the drug tretonin, which would free her from dependence upon a larval symbiote.
