Lieutenant who served aboard the Odyssey. Evans was transported to the surface of a human world, which at the time was being visited by an Ori warship, to determine what had caused a complete and mysterious loss of life. Evans discovered no evidence of residual radiation, and no chemical or biological agents in the atmosphere.

It was eventually discovered that the Free Jaffa Nation was single-handedly responsible for destroying the human settlement -- a counterstrike against the Ori using the powerful Dakara super-weapon.
