Former Stargate SG-1 leading man Richard Dean Anderson will appear at this month’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to promote the upcoming video game “Stargate SG-1: The Alliance,” publisher JoWood announced today.
Anderson will appear at the JoWood booth (Booth #724, South Hall) at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Wednesday, May 18.
“The Alliance” is now in development for a late 2005 release on the PC, XBox, and PlayStation 2. Anderson and the rest of the SG-1 cast contributed their voices to the highly anticipated release, a first- and third-person shooter with action set in the familiar Stargate universe.
E3 is the world’s largest trade conference and exposition show for the video game and interactive entertainment industry. This year’s event will take place from May 17 to 20, and promises such big industry events as the unveiling of Microsoft’s next-generation game console, rumored to be called “XBox 360.”
