Namco is one of the game industry’s leading publishers and distributors, and has committed more than $2 million U.S. in marketing funds for the video game. The company’s current hot games include Dead to Rights, Ridge Racer, and the Tekken and Soul Calibur fighting franchises.
The Alliance is set to debut in late 2005 for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2.
“It is an honour for us to be working with Namco, one of the leading publishers world-wide,” Albert Seidl, CEO of JoWooD, said.
The co-publishing deal is expected to be confirmed by MGM Interactive within the next few days.
Austria-based JoWood is publishing the title outside of North America. The Alliance is currently in development at Perception Pty in Sydney, Australia, and is being shown off at this week’s E3 Expo in Los Angeles.
