The cast and crew’s wrap party took place in Vancouver, B.C. last Saturday.
While no official word has been received on renewals for a tenth season of SG-1 or a third season of Atlantis, the casts and crew remain hopeful. Both series have averaged solid 2.0 ratings on SCI FI this summer, and will end with cliffhanger finales in March.
Editing, visual effects, and post production on the current season will continue in the weeks ahead, until the fortieth episode of Stargate is in the can. Should the shows be picked up for another year the show’s writers will get to work near the end of 2005, with principle photography expected to begin in late February or early March.
New episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis resume airing in January on The SCI FI Channel in the U.S., leading up to the season finales in March! Learn more about the episodes still to come in GateWorld’s SG-1 Season Nine and Atlantis Season Two episode guides.
