Anderson tobaggans at annual fundraiser

Richard Dean Anderson (“Jack O’Neill”) recently took part in the annual Waterkeeper Alliance fundraiser in Calgary. The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Sports Invitational, held on January 13, let RDA cavort in the snow, tobogganing past adoring fans cheering him on. Stargate‘s Ben Browder (“Cameron Mitchell”), Amanda Tapping (“Samantha Carter”), and Joe Flanigan (“John Sheppard”) also participated in the event.

“The people come out just to see us get hurt. As much as I want them to get what they want, I spent a little extra time stretching this morning. I do feel a little tightness in my back, however, so they can take pleasure in that,” the sarcastic Anderson said. He’s still Jack O’Neill to us.

All proceeds from the annual event go to the Canadian branch of Waterkeeper Alliance, a grassroots advocacy organization founded to help protect the world’s waterways and ecosystems.
