As a new year begins, Stargate fans in the United Kingdom and Europe are getting ready for another year of DVD releases! Both Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis are released on individual discs throughout the year, with the full season boxed set following. Here’s what’s coming up:

The first volume of Season Nine (SG-1 Volume 44) will arrive in the U.K. and Europe (Region 2 DVD) on February 13, with the current season’s first four episodes. Preorder it at Amazon.co.uk and support GateWorld! The Season Eight boxed set will be released in the U.K. on the same day, with all 20 episodes from last season and lots of bonus features.

Season Nine Volume 2 hits the shelves on March 27.

On the Atlantis side, look for the Season One boxed set in stores on February 27. With all 20 episodes plus bonus features, the set carries a suggested retail price of £59.99 (save 25 percent at Amazon — subject to change).

Atlantis Season Two Volume 1 will be released in the U.K. on March 13, with the first four episodes from the current season.
