For the past week in Vancouver, the movie “White Noise 2: The Light,” a sequel to the 2005 horror thriller “White Noise”, has been filming with alumni from Stargate and Battlestar Galactica. The story follows a man whose family is murdered and who himself is brought back from the brink of death. He soon discovers that he now has the ability to identify people who are about to die, and begins saving them from their demises — only to discover the perils of interrupting death’s plans.Starring in the film are Katee Sackhoff (“Kara Thrace”) and Firefly‘s Nathan Fillion (“Malcom Reynolds”). Supporting players include Teryl Rothery (“Janet Fraiser”), Kendall Cross (“Julia Donovan”), and David Milchard, an S.G.C. technician.The film may get a theatrical release or may go direct to DVD.
