After establishing one of Stargate Atlantis‘s most unique characters in Season Two, guest star Connor Trinneer recently returned home from filming his return appearance in the show’s third season — which includes new challenges for his character Michael Kenmore. Trinneer shared his thoughts on the character in a new interview with GateWorld.Beware of spoilers below.After being transformed into a human in Season Two’s “Michael,” the character escaped Atlantis and began his eery transformation back into a Wraith — and then led a hive ship back to Atlantis. When the season signed off in the cliffhanger “Allies,” the Wraith had learned the location of Earth.

After being humanized by Dr. Beckett’s retrovirus, Michael began his transformation back into a Wraith in last season’s “Michael.”

Trinneer returns to the Pegasus Galaxy in the first two episodes of the season, starting with “No Man’s Land.” “Michael’s back and it all sort of — it just keeps happening to him,” Trinneer said. “Things just don’t go away, [don’t] wind up working out well for him! He has to find his place, which I think is a really, really interesting place to be for a hybrid human-Wraith character.”I find him fascinating. I’m awfully pleased that I get to do it.”Is “No Man’s Land” and the following episode it for Trinneer, or might fans see him down the road? “I’ve talked to a few people about stuff. I’ll be happy to show up if they give me a call and until then I’ll carry on my merry way,” he said. “I think that I’m coming back. Nobody’s said.
