Tapping to appear in ‘McKay and Mrs. Miller’

Stargate SG-1‘s Samantha Carter will make a cameo appearance in an upcoming episode of Stargate Atlantis! MGM announced today that actress Amanda Tapping “makes a brief crossover appearance” in “McKay and Mrs. Miller,” set to air in September on SCI FI Channel in the U.S.

In the episode, Rodney McKay (David Hewlett) returns to Earth to pay a visit to his sister, Jeanie (played by Hewlett’s real-life sister, Kate Hewlett).

It is Tapping’s third appearance in the spin-off series, following a brief cameo in Season One’s “Letters From Pegasus” and a guest starring role in Season Two’s “Grace Under Pressure.”
