Former Stargate SG-1 leading man Richard Dean Anderson will guest star in the August 18 two-hundredth episode of the series, and in three episodes of Stargate Atlantis. But what is the promised fifth episode in which Anderson will guest star this year? We may finally have the answer.

In a new interview with TV Guide, SG-1 co-star Amanda Tapping revealed that, in Anderson’s second appearance, “Something happens to Daniel. That’s all I can tell you. Otherwise, I’d have to shoot you.”

This may well be a reference to the upcoming episode “The Shroud,” slated to air early in the second half of Season Ten. The episode begins with SG-1 making a startling discovery about their favorite archaeologist.
