Atlantis built on its lead-in once again, with the premiere of “Progeny” earning a 1.6 rating at 10 p.m. This is a boost of two-tenths of a point from the previous week.
The late-night reruns drew ratings of 0.9 and 0.7, also improvements over the August 4 episodes.
SCI FI’s new lead-in series for Friday nights is off-network returns of Night Stalker, ABC’s failed remake from last year. The August 11 episode earned a 0.9 rating at 8 p.m.
The two episodes of Stargate did distinguish themselves in some key demographics, including a summer high for men 25 to 54.
