“The last story slot has finally been filled. We spent most of yesterday spinning, then breaking ‘Harmony’ which I am really, really, REALLY looking forward to,” Mallozzi wrote. “Alas, I won’t be writing it as Marty G. [Martin Gero] will be assuming said duties, but I have no doubt he’ll do a brilliant job AND have a lot of fun with it.”
Also in the works: “Trio,” a story that will reportedly stick Rodney McKay, Samantha Carter, and Dr. Jennifer Keller together. (The episode was originally nicknamed “Three’s Company,” after the 1970s John Ritter sitcom.) It will also be penned by Gero.
Actor Joe Flanigan (“John Sheppard”) has also pitched out an idea for an episode, which will be written by Alan McCullough and see Sheppard make a return trip to Earth.
Titles for that episode, as well as the season finale, have yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, the two-part episode “The Kindred” is now filming at The Bridge Studios and on location. Though plot details remain a closely-guarded secret, the two-parter does see the return of a sorely-missed character (spoilers). “The Kindred” is expected to air as episodes 14 and 15.
