Beau Bridges continues to be a busy man after finishing his two-year stint on Stargate SG-1.
In addition to reprising his role as General Hank Landry for both Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate: Continuum, not to mention his Emmy-nominated recurring role on NBC’s My Name Is Earl, Bridges was recently cast in the feature film “Max Payne,” based on the hit video game franchise.
Bridges will play a character named B.B. Hensley, a former cop and mentor to Payne, who helps him track down a dangerous killer. Other actors attached to the project include Mila Kunis (of That 70’s Show and Family Guy fame) and Mark Wahlberg as the title character.
Filming of the movie — produced by Twentieth Century Fox — has already begun in Toronto, Canada.
