The opening theme song to the animated series Stargate Infinity makes some die-hard Stargate fans cringe … but for others it’s a fun memory of new Stargate stories that were simply animated and aimed at a younger audience.

Stargate Infinity is set 30 years in the future and tells the tale of Major Gus Bonner, who flees Stargate command to another planet after he is framed for a crime by an alien shape-shifter. A team of young cadets go with him. The series aired for one season on FOX Saturday morning and U.S. syndication.
