Slot machine manufacturer Atronic recently unveiled plans to produce machines based on both Stargate series as part of a three-year licensing deal with MGM Consumer Products, according to a report from The Earth Times.
“Atronic is thrilled to add Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis to our library of licensed products. We are going to build on the popularity of the TV series by bringing the excitement and intrigue of the shows to the casino floor,” said Ken Bossingham, the Chief Operations Officer of Atronics Americas, in a press release.
Several types of slot machines based on the Stargate franchise are planned, including video and reel-based. The first wave of machines is scheduled to land in casinos nationwide this fall.
