SCI FI Channel will offer eager Stargate fans the very first peek at Stargate Universe, the franchise’s third live-action TV series, this Friday night!
An SGU preview will air during the 2-hour series finale of Battlestar Galactica, which airs from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on March 20.
MGM has also released a special countdown widget, which is currently ticking away the minutes till Friday night’s sneak peek (though it appears to be off right now). In the future the widget will also be used to deliver news and special content previewing Stargate Universe. Check it out below, and get the widget for Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogger, WordPress, LiveJournal, and a host of other sites at Stargate.MGM.com.

Oh, I don't get the Sci-fi channel. I so badly would love to see this. Is there anyway possible for me to see it? Maybe online? I get all the shows off iTunes.
oh great, why SCIFI would ruin the last episode of BSG by running a preview of SGU? SGU is the "Enterprise" series for the Stargate series. It has better be good or else.

seriously Lord Ball? Ruin BSG finale by airing a preview? So... you'd rather watch Enzyte and 'sell your gold for cash' commercials than see a preview for the flagship franchise of the network?
um... Battlestar Galactica is in my opinion one of the most overrated shows ever. I'm not saying it isn't good so there's no need 2 tell me how 'great' it is (i've read it all before). It's good but...
Anyways - saying SGU is the 'Enterprise' of Stargate before the show ever airs is a bit of a leap. Also - being i watched all 4 season of Enterprise i feel a slight need to defend it - the first season of Enterprise was pretty solid on the whole, if you care for my opinion on it. Also, despite the shows general poor quality through the 2nd + 3rd season there are some very great standout episodes + season 4 was, on the whole, quality (yes - there were bad episodes but there were many more good 1's)
I grew up with the original Battlestar Galactica. I hate the way they changed it . I am only taping it to see the SGzU sneek peek .
I don't have Sci Fi, but I am able to watch BSG on SPACE but I'm not sure if they'll have the preview. God I hope so.
