Stargate Atlantis Cast Reunion Set For San Diego Comic-Con

The cast of Stargate Atlantis is headed back to San Diego Comic-Con for an all-star reunion, and you can watch it all from home.

“Dial the Gate” will host this year’s Stargate panel for Comic-Con@Home, the online version of the fan mega-event set for July 23 to 25. The Stargate Atlantis reunion panel will stream (free to the public) exclusively on the Comic-Con YouTube channel on a day and time to be announced.

“I am so privileged to have Dial the Gate’s first Stargate cast reunion panel appear as a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive,” host David Read said. “This group of actors are tremendous and getting most of them back together to discuss one of our favorite shows is a dream come true!”

“Dial the Gate” is also working to reach former Atlantis co-stars Joe Flanigan (“John Sheppard”) and Jason Momoa (“Ronon Dex”), in the hopes of rounding out the cast reunion before next week’s recording session. But it may take some help from the fans to reach them.

“We are scheduled to record the event on June 4 at noon Pacific time over Zoom,” Read said. “So far I have not been able to reach Joe Flanigan or Jason Momoa via their management — but am still hoping against hope that, schedule permitting, fandom might assist me in getting them to join us!”

Fans can post questions for the Atlantis cast on YouTube for a chance to be included in the show.

An extended cut of the panel will be available on “Dial the Gate” later this year. That special edition of the panel will include more questions that don’t fit into the Comic-Con stream.
