BlueBrixx Unveils Its Stargate Brick Toy Line

There’s a brand new line of Stargate brick building sets coming to the European market, and today we have the first look at an impressive launch line-up.

Germany-based BlueBrixx has revealed nine LEGO-compatible kids on the company’s Facebook page, including five Earth and alien ships and three character statues. The officially licensed Stargate sets will be released under the “BlueBrixx Pro” line.

Included in the first wave are:

    SHIPS
    Prometheus (2257 pieces – 49.5 cm long)
    F-302 (1356 pieces – 52.5 cm long)
    Goa’uld Al’kesh (1244 pieces – 31.8 cm long)
Beliskner (Asgard Mothership) (1158 pieces – 29.5 cm long)
Aurora (Ancient Warship) (1128 pieces – 36.1 cm long)
    STATUES
    Jack O’Neill (196 pieces)
    Apophis (238 pieces)
    Ronon Dex (295 pieces)
    Milky Way Chevron (389 pieces)

These sets are recommended for ages 3 and up. The ships include a display stand with a small Stargate and a name plate. The character statues include a small stand with a name plate.

There is no sign of mini-figures yet, but it’s worth noting that the company has teased that they are in development. Of course we’d also love to see a Stargate.

The company has not hinted at any release date yet, but the box reveals suggest that these sets may be close to going into manufacturing. We’re watching for the Stargate sets to begin appearing in the wild sometime in the first half of 2024. (The MGM copyright listed on the box images also suggest a 2024 release.)

And how about prices? While BlueBrixx hasn’t announced anything yet, they do sell similar items for their Star Trek license. Ships around 1200 pieces there sell around the €90 ($96 USD) price point, while the larger 2000-piece sets typically land between €150 and €200 ($160-210). Trek character statues retail for €14,95 ($16).

BlueBrixx sells at its retail stores throughout Germany and online at BlueBrixx.com. Fans who are looking to import these sets outside of Germany should expect some beefy shipping costs and/or import fees.

  • Really impressed with some of the less obvious ship choices here. In particular the Asgard and Ancient ships are not ones I would expect! But they look awesome!
That said-- a chevron? Haha. Maybe a little too unexpected.
