BlueBrixx Unveils More Stargate Brick Toys – Including Tiny SG-1

If you thought the five ships and four statues announced in November was going to be it for BlueBrixx’s new line of Stargate brick-building toys, the German company is just getting started.

BlueBrixx has announced even more new ships and models for their LEGO-compatible toy line, which is now in production under official license from MGM. And it includes our very first look at the SG-1 mini-figures!

To recap, in November BlueBrixx announced that it is releasing these ready-to-build sets:

    SHIPS
    Prometheus
    F-302
    Goa’uld Al’kesh
    Beliskner (Asgard Mothership)
    Aurora (Ancient Warship)
    STATUES
    Jack O’Neill
    Apophis
    Ronon Dex
    Milky Way Chevron

This month the company has unveiled a new ship in the impressive looking Wraith Cruiser, at 1,037 pieces and over 15 inches long (38.6 cm) after assembly. Like the other ships in the upcoming line, it will come with a display stand adorned with a miniature Stargate. Here’s a look at the box:

The Wraith cruiser was featured throughout Stargate Atlantis‘s run, smaller and more maneuverable than the massive Wraith hive ships.

Also just unveiled is a 1:1-scale Zero Point Module, as well as full model of the S.G.C. Gate Room! It includes the Stargate and ramp, a M.A.L.P. and a U.A.V., plus doors that open and close. We’ll be on the lookout for more details on this set, but meanwhile here is the prototype build plus a preview of the final colors (including an event horizon puddle that can be added or removed):

And the Z.P.M. (the final colors, followed by the prototype build):

Finally, BlueBrixx just pulled back the curtain on its first mini-figs to accompany that S.G.C. play set. The four figures include the original SG-1 team — Jack O’Neill, Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter, and Teal’c.

BlueBrixx’s Stargate line is expected to release this year in Germany and Europe, and on the company’s Web site.

Check out more Stargate reveals in the German-language videos below, including closer looks at the first three “Brick Buddies” statues (Jack O’Neill, Apophis, and Ronon Dex), the Stargate chevron, the Wraith Cruiser, S.G.C. Gate Room, and more. And take a look at the pictures for those previously announced here!
