Plains of Celestis

A stunningly beautiful land mass, distant from the village of Ver Eger, where the city of Celestis resides in the Ori home galaxy. It is accessible from other parts of the planet by transport rings.
The plains are bordered by a great mountain range, once home to the Alterans in a region the Ori called Ortus Malum.
KEY EPISODES
Origin - A Prior takes Daniel and Vala to the Plains of Celestis and the city of the gods.
Stargate: The Ark of Truth - Teal'c makes his way across treacherous mountains to the plains of Celestis, but collapses before he can reach the city.
