Individual assigned by the Trust to infiltrate Stargate Command and apply a locator beacon on the Stargate itself. Then, the ex-N.I.D. group could use Asgard beams to take the gate aboard Osiris's Al'kesh for their own purposes.

Hartkans was a part of the program for seven months prior to the fact. Assigned as a medical physician, his records indicated he was 35 years old, born in Lubbock Texas. His threat assessment risk level was benign.

After the Stargate was stolen he failed to report for duty and was never heard from again. It is likely he was an agent within the Trust himself, or was paid a generous amount of cash to cooperate, but the former is more likely.
