Scientist stationed on Atlantis. He was part of the team who first tried to bring Project Arcturus on-line after ten thousand years. Ordered by Dr. Rodney McKay to manually boost power to the weapon's field, Collins entered the Command Access tube. While he was inside Arcturus's reaction threshold spiked and sent him to his death.

Dr. Carson Beckett's post-mortem analysis stated that Collins died due to radiation exposure which caused severe burns to well over 90 percent of his body.
