Planet rich with an enormous naquadah deposit yielding more than 53,000 metric tons. The Goa'uld mined this world long ago using Unas as slave laborers, and then left them behind to develop independently when they abandoned the planet.

The indigenous Unas regarded the mines as a sacred burial ground, and were hostile toward anyone who trespassed. When a survey team from Earth arrived to search for a naquadah mine, the Unas did not show their faces for three months -- until the humans located the substantial deposit. Fortunately, a tentative peace was reached with help from Chaka and Daniel Jackson, and the Unas, led by Kor Asek, agreed to honor their ancestors by mining the naquadah themselves and turning the spoils over to Earth, to be used in the fight against the Goa'uld.
