Other contenders include Battlestar Galactica, The Closer, The 4400, and Nip/Tuck.
Ben Browder (Cameron Mitchell) received a nomination in the Best Actor On Television category, an award he won in 2005 for Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars and in 2002 for Farscape the series. His competition includes William Fichtner (Invasion), Matthew Fox (Lost), Jilian McMahon (Nip/Tuck), Wentworth Miller (Prison Break), and Tom Welling (Smallville).
Finally, Claudia Black (Vala Mal Doran) earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress On Television for her recurring role on SG-1 this season. She took home the Saturn for Best Actress on TV in 2005 for Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars.
Catherine Bell (The Triangle), Allison Mack (Smallville), Michelle Rodriguez (Lost), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and Erica Durance (Smallville) were also nominated in this category. Durance is a Stargate SG-1 alum, having played Krista in Season Eight’s “Affinity.”
