Watch out for minor spoilers for this episode below!
“Mitchell is handcuffed to a bed with Vala standing over him,” Browder told TV Zone magazine. “That’s pretty much all you need to know. Watch for the scene.”
“I’m still smiling at the Vala-Mitchell scenes, anticipating the fan reaction to the ‘dinner date’ debate, and am curious as to whether Ben knows how to ride a motorcycle,” executive producer Joseph Mallozzi wrote about the episode in a message at his GateWorld blog.
Curious doesn’t describe the scene back at The Bridge Studios, where the new Atlantis episode “McKay and Mrs. Miller” was filming at the same time. David Hewlett’s (Dr. Rodney McKay) real life sister, Kate Hewlett, is playing McKay’s sister, Jeannie (story). The Hewlettisms abound.
TV Zone also reports in the July 2006 issue that Mallozzi is planning a sequel episode to bring back Richard Kind’s character, Lucius Lavin, following his upcoming debut in “Irrisistible.” (Fans of the 1994 feature film Stargate will remember Kind’s performance as Dr. Gary Meyers.)
According to Mallozzi, “Brad [Wright, executive producer and writer] gave him a call to ask if he was interested in doing a sequel to the episode and Richard agreed in a heartbeat. So I’m trying to think of possible plots for that.”
