Ready for the Season Two premiere of Stargate Universe? Yep, us too! After three and a half months of waiting, the new season kicks off with “Intervention” in just a matter of days.
The networks airing SGU in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia have all announced their premiere dates. Here’s where you can find the next new episode:
Syfy in the U.S. – Tuesday, September 28 (9 p.m. E/P)
SPACE in Canada – Friday, October 1 (10 p.m. E/P)
SCI FI in Australia – Friday, October 1 (8:30 p.m.)
Sky1 in the U.K. – Tuesday, October 5 (8 p.m.)
In other countries, check your local listings or contact the station that aired Season One of SGU to find out when they’ll be starting Season Two.
Check out our Season Two episode guide to find out more about the premiere and the rest of the upcoming episodes. We expect the first half of the season (10 episodes) to air up to early December, followed by a winter break (like last year). The second half of the season will probably start around the first week of April, but Syfy and the international networks haven’t confirmed this yet.

The premiere of SGU's second second season is scheduled to premiere in Sweden in November, on TV6. No date has been decided yet. Just sayin'
@TheHeavensWillRise - thanks! We'll keep an eye out for date
honestly, does it matter what date it starts, in which country???
The Swedish premier date of season 2 is on Friday Nov 26 at 9pm on TV6.
The last episodes of season 1 will start to air on Friday Oct 15 at 9pm
@junebug
It certainly matters to people all around the world who are watching out for the new season.
Why do networks insist on different air dates for TV show? If they want to persuade people to continue to pay for their content then a world wide air date must be established. Timezones make it hard to have it air at the same time but fans are not going to wait any longer then they have to. Why wait additional days or even weeks when one can torrent the show in 15 minutes?
Will there be no Season 2 in Germany? Didnt find any premiere dates of season 2 on RTL II...
Please stop licensing the show to SPACE in Canada. This show deserves to be watched in HD and SPACE can't bother upgrading even though they have the license. This means you have a whole lot of Stargate fans that have to grab the show through alternate means just to watch it in HD! (It was the same with Battlestar.. ugh). At least Atlantis used to be on one of the movie networks here which was in HD.
I have to agree with Lee_Machine. Although it's great that countries such as Sweden have become better at showing first run episodes of various tv-shows alot sooner than they used to (could take anywhere from 6-12 months and beyond before). But it would be so much better if they aired within a day or two from the US counterpart.
@junebug - well you know for us who live in "all over the world" it's waaaay much more interesting than to know when it starts in the US somehow.
