This fall saw the release of Stargate stories in a brand new form: officially licensed short stories. Fandemonium has published Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis: Far Horizons, an anthology collection of ten stories set in the Stargate universe.
Far Horizons was initially released for Kindle and other e-book formats, and is now also available to order in paperback now at Amazon.com.
Fandemonium hopes that Far Horizons will be the first in an ongoing series of anthologies, called “Traveler’s Tales.”
From the publisher:
From the early days of “Todd” the Wraith to Teal’c’s first experience of the S.G.C., from Atlantis’ past and future to good old-fashioned SG-1 adventures, Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis: Far Horizons brings you a wealth of exciting stories from across the Milky Way and Pegasus galaxies.
Whether you’re a fan of STARGATE SG-1 or STARGATE ATLANTIS, there’s something for everyone in our first anthology of Travelers’ Tales, with ten short stories from ten fantastic Stargate authors.
The list of contributing authors include Jo Graham (the Atlantis “Legacy” series, Death Game), Melissa Scott (the Atlantis “Legacy” series, Ouroboros), Peter J. Evans (Oceans of Dust, Angelus), Amy Griswold (the Atlantis “Legacy” series, Heart’s Desire), Keith R.A. DeCandido, Suzanne Wood (The Barque of Heaven), Diana Dru Botsford (Four Dragons, The Drift), Geonn Cannon (Two Roads), Sabine C. Bauer (Trial by Fire, Survival of the Fittest), and Sally Malcolm (A Matter of Honor, The Cost of Honor).
Next up from Fandemonium is Stargate SG-1: Permafrost, which the publisher calls its first e-book-only novella. It will reportedly be available in time for Christmas.

yep the novels are quite good. I have read them all and out of the almost 50 books I think there was only one I didn’t care for, and some of them were quite amazing.
I read this anthology a couple of weeks ago. For the most part they were excellent. Very well done.
